Data centers

Two Tier III facilities. Both in the EU.

Our racks live in two carrier-neutral, Tier III data centers, one in Tallinn and one in Amsterdam. Hostander engineers are physically on-site at both, so the people responding to your incident are also the people with hands on your hardware.

Note: we don't own or operate the buildings. We own everything inside our racks: the servers, the switches, the cabling, the management network and our private backbone.

Facility standards

What Tier III actually means.

Concurrently maintainable infrastructure, redundant power and cooling, audited physical security. The boring stuff that keeps boring uptime numbers boring.

Power

A+B feeds to every rack, UPS-backed and diesel-backed. Tested under load on a regular schedule.

Cooling

N+1 cooling with hot/cold aisle containment. Continuous temperature and humidity telemetry.

Fire safety

VESDA early-detection systems and inert-gas suppression. Routine drills with facility staff.

Physical access

Multi-factor entry: badge, biometric and mantrap. Visitor logs retained for audit.

Building resilience

Tier III design: concurrently maintainable infrastructure with no single points of failure for power or cooling.

Remote hands

Hostander engineers on-site at both facilities. No third-party remote-hands tickets in the loop.

Customer visits

Yes, you can come see them.

Both facilities support scheduled customer visits, coordinated by us. Useful for compliance audits, photo proof for stakeholders, or just to meet the engineers responsible for your hardware.

  1. 1Open a ticket or email sales with at least 5 business days' notice.
  2. 2We confirm the slot with the facility and prepare your access list.
  3. 3On the day, bring photo ID. A Hostander engineer escorts you through the cages.
  4. 4We can host technical briefings and post-visit Q&A on request.

Need an audit pack or facility certificates?

We provide compliance documentation, facility certifications and security attestations under NDA. Common for ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR audits.
